As an athlete, your body is not just a place that you live in, it’s the vessel you use to stretch your limits, experience joy of movement and overcome challenges to do what you previously couldn’t – or didn’t think you could! It’s essential for performance and joy of movement, that athletes tune into their bodies in order to know when to slow down, speed up, work harder or take a break. One of the biggest lessons in yoga is that of being able to listen to your body carefully and know its cues. The tools of Kundalini Yoga are a powerful access. Yoga: Let your Body Speak uses dynamic/static postures, breath work (pranayama), visualization, deep relaxation, and sound/mantra to settle the nervous system – for peace of mind, performance, mind control, and joy of movement.
