Based on a new scientifically developed research review, Len will present state-of-the art evidence for resistance training as a treatment for weight loss, post-exercise fat metabolism, type 2 diabetes, cardiometabolic health and lipoprotein-lipid profiles. In addition, we will discuss and evaluate the research results of 5 contemporary resistance training programs. A must attend lecture for any professional resistance training devotee.

Len Kravitz

Len Kravitz, Ph.D., is the Program Coordinator of Exercise Science and Researcher at the University of New Mexico where he won the “Outstanding Teacher of the Year” award. Len was honoured with the 2009 Canadian Fitness Professional “Specialty Presenter of the Year” award and was chosen as the 2006 American Council on Exercise “Fitness Educator of the Year”. He also has received the prestigious Canadian Fitness Professional “Lifetime Achievement Award”.
