Trying to wrap your head around core conditioning research? To
brace or to hollow? To move or to stabilize? Maybe it doesn’t
have to be as confusing as it seems! This workshop will review
the functional anatomy of the core musculature and explore
techniques to effectively engage the core muscles and enhance
strength and stability.

Melissa Clarke (MSc, Trainer of Fitness Leaders) teaches in the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education at University
of Victoria, and is the Chief Exercise Officer of Unstoppable Anatomy + Fitness. She is a self-proclaimed anatomy nerd, who loves educating
others through interactive sessions that integrate theory into practical application…while trying to be a bit humerus at the same time (see what we mean?!?).
