It’s been over 10+ years since Canada’s food guide has been updated, that’s the same year Steve Jobs announced the release of the first i-Phone. Yes, a lot has changed and, in this session, we’re going to look at the evolution of the Canada food guide since its inception in 1942 to its most current iteration today. Where does the food guide excel, where does it flounder and how accessible is this new food guide to a variety of Canadians? We’ll also have fun in going through some new food guide recipes and up-leveling them for the clients that you see and the variety of health considerations such as gluten-free, dairy-free, etc. that they have. Questions and interaction are encouraged.
