Indoor cycling continues to be a popular and effective workout for all ages and fitness levels. Chris will lead you through a Ride + Restore session at Oak Bay Fitness. Ride + Restore combines cardiovascular exercise with restorative stretches. Proper technique and muscle engagement during indoor cycling can improve endurance and injury prevention. Intentional stretches after a cardio session can reverse the effects of muscle tightening to improve alignment and movement quality. He will detail the programming, technical mechanics, and effective cueing to structure your own successful Ride + Restores group fitness class. Expect an informative and fun workout with an uplifting beat inducing playlist.

Chris Csak

Chris Csak has been a cycling coach for 20 years. Originally starting as a certified personal trainer, Chris is also certified as a Yoga instructor recognized by Yoga Alliance, and a Stott Pilates Instructor.  In 2018 Chris, successfully became accredited as an Assistant Physiotherapist through the Canadian Physiotherapist Association. His passion for helping individuals heal has taken him around the world where he has had the opportunity to work with people of all walks of life.
